Teams Manager's archival process gives you the ability to easily recover archived teams. There are two options to recover them. You can either utilize the Chatbot or the Admin Dashboard. Let's explore both options to see which one might be more comfortable for you.
Chatbot:
Navigate to the Chat tab within Teams Manager.
Find the archival notification for the team that you'd like to recover.
Click on Reactivate Team.
Select the updated duration from the dropdown.
Consider leaving a comment if it feels necessary.
Click on Reactivate team to finalize the process.
This is a convenient option if the team has been archived relatively recently.
Dashboard:
Navigate to the Teams tab within Teams Manager.
Switch the toggle in the top right corner to Admin view.
Select the Archived tab.
Locate the team you'd like to recover in the Archived list (you can utilize the search bar).
Click on the β¦ button next to its name.
You'll have two options: Restore Space and Extend Lifecycle.
Restoring the space will give you the same options as the chatbot with standard lifecycle lengths.
Extending the lifecycle will allow you to choose a specific new archival date from a calendar menu.
This is a great option if you're looking to have a wider range of choices in terms of reactivation, and if the team has been archived for a while and would be hard to find manually.
